Gavin Henson should stop rugby at 37.The contract of the Welsh international (33 selections) would not, according to information from Wales Online, renewed by his Newport club.
Early success
Gavin Henson first had success. He is notably one of the great craftsmen of the Grand Chelem in Wales in 2005 and 2008.We all remember his anthology kick which offered victory to his country against England at Twickenham in 2005.The versatile three-quarters also experienced the tour of the British lions in 2005.The Welsh international has not, however, wear the XV leek jersey since June 2011.

The rest of his career was marked by several setbacks. In 2010-2011, he signed in Toulon, but the player was dismissed after a fight with teammates in a Toulouse bar.Gavin Henson then relaunched Cardiff, except that in February 2012, the center was dismissed for an incident when he was drunk on a plane.
Only three games this season
He succeeded in two rather convincing passages in Bath (2013-2015) and Bristol (2015-2017) but never found the level that he was his.Since 2017, he has been playing in Newport, but hardly plays. This season, he only participated in three games.
